As a woman who has been the object of discrimination and prejudice, I have been and will continue to be an advocate for all people. As a longtime Christian, I am a proponent of protecting the right to practice various faiths. I also support the LGBTQ community and will work toward reducing the discrimination this community receives in Indiana.
To do this, I support creating a hate crime law in Indiana that would protect everyone from discrimination. I truly believe in the separation of church and state and will not tolerate using religious beliefs to condone hate. I have my own beliefs and believe that everyone should have the freedom to have and express theirs.
